Our Cleaning Process
- Sweeping: We start by sweeping the surface to remove loose dirt, debris, and leaves.
- Pre-treatment: We identify any stubborn stains, such as oil, grease, and/or mold and pre-treat these stains with appropriate cleaners. After application, we let it sit for a few minutes.
- Scrubbing: If needed, we may use a stiff brush to scrub the entire surface of the brick pavers.
- Pressure washing: We use a 21-inch surface cleaning and sealing machine to scrub at a low-pressure setting to avoid damaging the pavers. Then we take the turbo tip nozzle at 4000 PSI in the joints of the pavers to clear out the old polymeric sand.
- Rinsing: After scrubbing or pressure washing, we thoroughly rinse the brick pavers with clean water. This helps to remove any remaining dirt, soap residue, or cleaning solution.
- Repeat if necessary: Stubborn stains may require multiple rounds of cleaning. If necessary, we repeat the cleaning process until desired results results are achieved.
- Reinsertion of Industrial Grade New Polymeric Sand = This is a 2 step process where the sand is inserted, tamped and then another layer of sand is applied.
- Activation = Now, we activate the sand by saturating it with water which turns it from a sand to a construction adhesive.
- Sealing: Once the brick pavers are clean and dry, we apply a sealer to protect it from future stains and damage. Sealing also enhances the appearance of the pavers and helps to prolong their lifespan.
